Friday, June 8 is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also the World Day of Prayer for Priests. Catholics worldwide are urged to pray for priests on this day. The day was begun by Saint John Paul II is 2002 with the objective of having all Catholic faithful join in prayer for the sanctification of priests.

ReplyDeleteThe solemnity of the Sacred Heart on Friday is followed by the Immaculate Heart on Saturday. These two feast ought never be overlooked. The world has gone too crazy for that.
